About Us

Inclusive Graduates is the not for profit arm of Inclusive Boards. We work with undergraduates and professionals from underrepresented groups across the UK. We identify these groups as ethnic minorities; women, young people from low socio-economic groups. Inclusive Graduates has over 30,000 members, 80% who classify themselves as BAME, and the majority of those being African Caribbean. Through our A-CAN (African Caribbean Alumni Network) campaign we have direct access to over 20,000 role model black undergraduates and recent graduates across the UK.

A-CAN

Over the last 10 years A-CAN has grown the network of former African Caribbean Society (ACS) Presidents, committees, and society members to create a comprehensive network of professionals within England, Scotland, and Wales. A-CAN is the largest network of its kind, representing over 1% of the UK black population.

We have worked with young people from underrepresented groups across the UK and have partnered with outstanding employers and stakeholders to create diverse career opportunities and development programmes. Through our partnerships with schools, university societies, subject departments, lecturers and career services we have helped hundreds of diverse candidates to secure mentoring, placement, internship and prestigious graduate development opportunities. We have worked with national and multinational organisations including the Civil Service, National Audit Office, Financial Conduct Authority, Teach First, PwC, Barclays, Deloitte, and Wragge, Lawrence, Graham & Co.

Great Debate Tour

The Great Debate Tour (GDT) is the largest national debate forum targeted at cultural communities on campuses across the UK. Inclusive Graduates plan to utilise the Great Debate Tour 2019 and 2020 event programme as a platform to introduce students and staff to inspirational alumnis from the BFI programmes. We are particularly looking to provide role models from the target groups. This coincides well with the recruitment cycle between June 2019 and October 2019. As part of our engagement with students, we have invited committee leaders from different societies across UK university for a leadership summit in July 2019. We will inform them about the film academy programmes and encourage them to submit expressions of interest.
